"Salvation comes to Zacchaeus's house today!" announced Jesus. "For I have come to look for and to seek those who are lost." The Effects of Real Faith Zacchaeus probably became rich by cheating people, something tax collectors were known for in those days. But Zacchaeus met Jesus, and he became a new man. He had faith in Jesus' power and love. When Zacchaeus met Jesus, his life was changed. It doesn't matter if you are short or tall, Jesus knows your name, too, and Jesus knows everything about you. Pray: Heavenly Father, we know that when we meet Jesus, it will be a life-changing experience. Thank you that Jesus knows our name and loves us. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Zaccheus had the problem of being too short to see Jesus. I don’t know how tall he was–probably around 5 feet or a little less. I don’t think he was any bigger than that. He was a short, rich man who was the most hated man in town. And Zaccheus wants to see this Jesus so he’s pushing his way down the street. 2. DETERMINED DETERMINATION TO SEE JESUS! Zacchaeus was a Tax collector (Publican) and not liked by Jesus passed by he wanted to see Jesus, but could not because he was small of he was pushed, nudged and ended up black and blue with he did not give up. Exceedingly creative, he decided to climb a tree so that he could at least get a glimpse of Jesus as He .

As Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem large crowds met him everywhere. People were asking Him to show them the way to salvation and to teach them more about the kingdom of God. This man really is a prophet. My Lord and Master, save me! Oh Lord, save us! Save us! Praise the Lord! Show us the true way, Lord! That's the tax collector! A few weeks ago in toddler group we learnt about our feet. To build on that we have done a Bible story that includes feet - in Luke 19 we read that a man called Zacchaeus 'wanted to see who Jesus was, but being a short man he could not, because of the crowd. So he.
